Stone Arch Bridge and Downtown at Sunset

17 Sep

I’ve come to realize that I enjoy being by myself more and more all the time. The more interaction I seem to have with people, the more disappointed I become. It’s not for a lack of trying on their part, but I just can’t stand when things aren’t properly planned or thought out. For this reason, I am trying to distance myself from others for a while. In rare circumstances, people are fine, like just hanging out when there are no real time constraints, but for 95% of the time, I am going to be by myself. Which brings me to my bike ride this past Wednesday. Sure, it would be fun to go on a bike ride with others and have those “shared experiences” that I’ve heard are all the rage these days, but I went by myself and I was all the better for it. Wednesday was probably the last nice day here in Minnesota, so I took a trip down the Greenway and over to the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis. I had never been there before, and it was a really nice ride. The winding path flows next to the Mississippi, providing great views of the University of Minnesota (boo!) as well as the many bridges and the downtown skyline. Check out the pictures below and see some of the beauty that I experience by myself all the time.
